General info:
Shim is the smallest part of the PavePad range of products. It is a levelling disc, which is used to provide a precice levelling of the desired height of the tiles. When multiple discs are used, they should be placed between the PavePads. The Shim can, like the rest of the PavePad range of products, be cut into halves or quarts using manual power, when tiles are placed in the corner or side of a terrace

Material:
Shim is produced with plastic mold injection, in the material PEHD (High Density Poly Ethylene) and therefore, contains no toxics. Furthermore PE do not develop chloride fumes when burned. The material is 100% recyclable and can be made into new products.

The PavePad range of products:
Shim is an integrated part of the PavePad range of products and can be combined with the other types of PavePads;

PavePad 90, PavePad 45, PavePad 15 and the PavePad 7.5

Utilization:

• Protects the rooftop membrane against UV radiation as well as wear and tear.
• Provides you with a simple and homogenous laying out of tiles.
• Provides you with a light weight rooftop terrace, as no sand is needed for foundation, enabling easier drainage.
• Provides you with a clean surface without weeds, as no sand or gravel is used beneath the tiles.
• Drains the surface and is an effective means against pots of water and alga growth on the tiles.
• The tiles can be laid out 100% horizontal regardless of the membranes slope or curves.
• Provides you with an easy option to remove parts of the tiles, to control the rooftop membrane.
